Service Description
If the brake pads wear away completely, you can damage the rotors. The calipers can grind grooves into the rotor. Then the rotor must either be resurface or replaced. That’s not only dangerous because your vehicle won’t stop as quickly, but will add to the expense of your repair. Sometimes rotors warp, crack, or can just be too thin to resurface and must be replaced.
